THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL IS JUST AN ONCOMING TRAIN.

I've come to the conclusion that as a creative person, one can never be financially successful at the same time as keeping ones integrity, credibility and pursuit for truth. In today's day and age, the media wont let you. That is what you compromise with popularity and success. Quality and honesty are jeopardized and thus sacrificed. These observations are ones that I hold to be true in my own perspective. I welcome intelligible challenges from any naysayers. P.S. I'd love to be proven wrong.

addendum:
Two things. First I must stress that my humble observations are ones that pertain to today's day and age. Meaning, what America has become in the last 5 years, due to the ever-increasing influence and pressure that the media has on society. And secondly, I'm aware that the term 'success' is a subjective one, open to a variety of interpretations, and opinions. I will simply state that my definition of the term 'success' is being able to pay your monthly bills, eat healthy and moderately, have health care, have money for a cold beer when you desire one, and be able to afford to travel to visit loved ones. Nothing else matters.
