ART OPENING: Photography by PAUL ZONE-NY Underground '72-'77
Here are a few snapshots from the opening that night, July 12, 2008, at the Darkroom Gallery in the Atwater district of Los Angeles.

Paul Zone and I.

(L to R.) Vinny Stilleto, Julia 'Lady J' Gerard, Sirius Trixon, Lily Marlene, Apollo Staar.

We were all wearing pointly shoes. See if you can match up the show with the person. hint: I was the one wearing the Chelsea Boots.

Here is a short video clip I shot at the opening.
What struck me the most from the photographs were the candid moments of rare authentic emotions that Paul Zone captured. Most of the photographs reveal a very personal and intimate side of each of the subjects, as opposed to just shots of them posing and posturing onstage.
