ART OPENING: Photography by PAUL ZONE-NY Underground '72-'77

I know this is a few months old, but it was a really great Photo exhibit that definitely merits being posted up, showcasing people who were important in shaping the New York Underground Punk/New Wave/Music movement in the early to mid-70s. Photographer Paul Zone was just a kid when he shot these incredible pictures.

Here are a few snapshots from the opening that night, July 12, 2008, at the Darkroom Gallery in the Atwater district of Los Angeles.

What struck me the most from the photographs were the candid moments of rare authentic emotions that Paul Zone captured. Most of the photographs reveal a very personal and intimate side of each of the subjects, as opposed to just shots of them posing and posturing onstage.

PREDICTION: McCAIN WILL WIN DUE TO SOME POLLING SCREW-UP...

Although I hope it DOESN'T happen...

First of all, its pretty obvious that Obama SHOULD win since he's up in ALL OF THE POLES in the last couple of weeks and McCain is losing ground, Faster and Faster.

HOWEVER, I predict that by some technical foul-up, McCain will win by some polling screw up at the last second. You'll see.

IF THIS HAPPENS, then its totally clear that WE THE PEOPLE really have NO SAY in the voting process, and it will be apparent that it is completely run by the Gov't/bug business/dominant global corporations and the only reason that the polling institution exists is so that we the people FEEL that we have a say and don't RIOT across the Nation due to the result, since "WE" chose the president. The Go'vt will ultimately choose the president, but then will blame us, the people, if something fucks up.

watch McCain Win due to a technical Snafu:
-It has already started in Los Angeles.
Apparently there are not enough Ballots to meet the demand for the turnout of voters this year. They are already predicting it.

That would be a perfect excuse for the Republican Campaign to use for a McCain Win. I predict that something like this will happen across the Nation.

And/or

Somehow, all the votes that were put in due to voting early (Before Nov. 4th) OR that were put in as an absentee vote, somehow their vote will not be legit OR not counted because of some screw-up. Its already happened before.

And/or

There will be SOME discrepency with the voting results that will somehow land McCain in Office.

I don't know what it will be, but I predict that SOMEHOW he will land in office, at the last second. Some Bullshit 'Swing' state decision.
